YAMUNOTRI : Yamunotri Dham dedicated to Maa Yamuna Ji, highly revered as the origin of the majestic river Yamuna, Yamunotri is famed for its glaciers and thermal springs that makes it one of the most important stopovers in the schedule of Hindu pilgrimage. According to Hindu tradition, Yamuna is the sister of Yama, the god of death. The sacred shrine of Yamunotri, source of the river Yamuna, is the westernmost shrine in the Garhwal Himalayas, perched atop a flank of Bandar Poonch Parvat. BADRINATH : Shri Badrinath Temple Dedicated to Bhagwan Vishnu.  Badrinath is one of the four sites in India's Char Dham pilgrimage and is also part of India's Chota Char Dham pilgrimage circuit.
