About Panch Kedar Trek : Panch Kedar Yatra or Panch Kedar Trek is one of the most sacred pilgrimages Yatras in India. It is a part of the holy Panch Kedar circuit. The names of the Panch Kedar Temples are Kedarnath Temple, Tungnath Temple, Rudranath Temple Madhmaheshwar Temple and Kalpeshwar Temple. It is said that Bhagwan Shiv bull incarceration is worshiped in these temples. His body fell into different places when he was hiding from Pandavas when they were searching for him to atone for their sins of killing their own relatives in the war of Mahabharata. In Madhmaheshwar temple the stomach of Bhagwan Shiv is worshipped. In Kedarnath the hump of the bull form of Bhagwan Shiv fell. In Rudranath the face of Bhagwan Shiv worshipped, In Tungnath his arms fell and in Kapleshwar the matted hair of Bhagwan Shiv is worshipped. Every year thousands of pilgrims undertake Panch Kedar Yatra to get the divine blessings of Bhagwan Shiv.

Day 1

HARIDWAR – GUPTKASHI/SONPRAYAG (205 KMS / 7-8 HRS)

Morning start drive from Haridwar to Guptkashi/Sonprayag.
On arrival, check in at the Camp/hotel.
Spend the evening at leisure.
Overnight stay at hotel/guest house.

Day 2

GUPTKASHI/SONPRAYAG – KEDARNATH

Early morning leave for Gaurikund to commence the trek to Kedarnath. Or hire (Own) the pony / Doli to cover the trekking distance.
On reaching pay visit to Kedarnath Darshan and Special Pooja.
Overnight stay at the guest house.

Day 3

KEDARNATH – GAURIKUND – SONPRAYAG/GUPTKASHI

Early morning visit Kedarnath temple & return to Sonprayag/Guptkashi.
Spend the evening at leisure.
Dinner & overnight stay at hotel/guest house.

Day 4

GUPTKASHI/SONPRAYAG - RANSI - GAUNDHAR (DRIVE: 02/03 HRS | TREK: 03 HRS)

Today after breakfast drive to Ransi - starting point of the trek to Madmaheshwar.
From Ransi trek up to Gaundhar.
Dinner and overnight stay in tent.

Day 5

GAUNDHAR - MADHMAHESHWAR (TREK: 05/06 HRS)

Post breakfast start the trek up to Madmaheshwar.
It is believed that the navel mid part of the body reappeared at this shrine after disappearing at Kedarnath.
On reaching Madmaheshwar, enjoy the magnificent view of Chaukhamba, Kedarnath and the Neelkanth peaks.
Dinner and overnight stay in tent.

Day 6

MADMAHESHWAR - RANSI - CHOPTA (DRIVE: 01/02 HRS)

After breakfast head back to Ransi Village.
From Ransi drive till Chopta.
Dinner and overnight stay in camp.

Day 7

CHOPTA – TUNGNATH – CHOPTA – SAGAR (DRIVE: 03 HRS)

Wake up very early today and have breakfast.
Start the gradually uphill trek to Tungnath Temple.
During the trek, you can witness a wide range of snowcapped Himalayas.
On reaching Tungnath, Pay a visit to The Highest Shiva Temple in the world.
Rest for a while and head up to Chandrashila Peak. (if weather permits)
From the top of the Chandrshila Peak, rejoice the stunning panoramic view of the Himalayas.
Later head down towards Chopta and drive to Sagar.
Dinner & overnight stay in guest house/lodge.

Day 8

SAGAR – PUN BUGYAL - PANAR BUGYAL (TREK: 05 HR)

After an early breakfast start the trek up to Panar Bugyal via Pun Bugyal.
The uphill trail goes through the damp forest & meadows.
Moving upward see the change in Atmosphere & Vegetation.
Evening reach Panar Bugyal and have some rest.
Dinner and overnight stay in tent/home stay.

Day 9

PANAR BUGYAL – RUDRANATH – PANAR BUGYAL (TREK: 04-05 HR)

After breakfast start trekking up to Rudranath - The Toughest Kedar.
Rudranath temple is the toughest one to reach in comparison with other temples of Panch Kedar.
The trail offers awe-inspiring views of the Himalayas and passes though the wild grassy meadows & thick woodlands.
On Reaching pay visit to Rudranath Temple.
From Rudranath one can see a splendid view of Hathi Parvat, Nanda Devi, Nanda Ghunti, Trishul peaks.
Evening return to Panar Bugyal for dinner and overnight stay in tent/home stay.

Day 10

PANAR BUGYAL – SAGAR – URGAM (DRIVE: 03 HRS)

After morning breakfast trek down to Sagar Village through dense forests and meadows.
On reaching Sagar drive to Urgam.
Dinner and overnight stay in guest house/lodge.

Day 11

URGAM – KALPESHWAR – URGAM (DRIVE: 03 HR | TREK: 01-02 HR)

After breakfast starts the trek up to Kalpeshwar Temple - where the locks of Shiva worshiped.
After Darshan trek back to Urgam and drive to Rudraprayag.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 12

RUDRAPRAYAG – HARIDWAR (165 KMS / 05 HRS)

After breakfast, drive back to Haridwar.
En-route see the holy Confluence of Rivers Alakhnanda & Bhagirathi at Devprayag.
On reaching, transfer to Haridwar Railway station for your Journey back home.

--Keep your luggage with your security. In case of any theft or loss, the company is not responsible for the same.
--Do not forget to carry your government approved Identity such as Passport, Aadhar, Driving License or Voter ID for check-ins and check-outs.
--Carry your valid identification card for hotel stays, also the documents must include photographs. The company is not responsible for any issues regarding Id proofs.
--Vehicle AC will not work in anyweather conditions in hill area road.
--The company is not responsible for any theft, accident, injury or death during the tour.
--We will not responsible for any cost arising due to bad weather, tour amendments, road block, and any Nature calamity.

PAYMENTS POLICY:-
For all the services contracted, certain advance payment should be made to hold the booking, on confirmed basis & the balance amount can be paid upon arrival. but definitely before the commencement of the services. Management personnel hold the right to decide upon the amount to be paid as advance payment, based on the nature of the service & the time left for the commencement of the service.

CONDITION:
Gangotri Travels shall not be responsible for any delay / cancellation of flight / train / bus or any other mode of transport due to bad weather, nature calamity / rode closed / strike / political issues or any other causes beyond our control.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
In the event of cancellation of tour / travel services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reason/s we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:

60 days prior to arrival: 10% of the Tour / service cost
45 days prior to arrival: 20% of the Tour / service cost
15 days prior to arrival: 50% of the Tour / service cost
07 days prior to arrival: 75% of the Tour / service cost
Less than 72 hours or No Show: No Refund

NOTES : CHARDHAM HOTEL FOLLOWS 100% RETENTION DURING YATRA.

In case of Special Trains Journeys and peak season hotel bookings a separate cancellation policy is applicable (which can be advised as and when required).

SOME CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICIES ARE OUT OF OUR AGREEMENT:
Refund for hotel payment will follow the hotel’s cancellation policy In case you cancel the trip after commencement, refund would be restricted to a limited amount only which too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers/ contractors we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation & missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.

OUR LIABILITIES & LIMITATIONS:
Please note that after the finalization of the Tour/ service Cost, if there are any Hike in entrance fees of monuments / museums, Taxes, fuel cost or guide charges the same would be charged as extra.

LAW & JURISDICTION:
For all complaints, suits, claims or disputes of whatsoever nature relating to any products offered by Gangotri Travels, will be under the exclusive jurisdiction of Court of Haridwar.
