Ghangaria (also spelled Ghagaria) is a small yet vital Himalayan village in Chamoli district, Uttarakhand. Situated at an altitude of around 3,050 meters, Ghangaria serves as the last human settlement and the base camp for two world-famous destinations: Valley of Flowers National Park and Hemkund Sahib.
Due to its strategic location, hotels in Ghangaria remain in high demand during trekking and pilgrimage seasons
