Drive 210 Km
You have to start your journey from Haridwar after taking bath at the holy Ganga river. You have to drive from Haridwar to Barkot via Mussoorie. Here you’ll visit the temple dedicated to lord Shiva at Lakhamandal. After pooja and darshan, we will continue our journey to Barkot. Check in at the hotel upon arrival in Barkot. In Barkot, you will spend the night at a hotel.
Drive 42 Km
We have to drive to Jankichatti early in the morning. You can trek five kilometres from Jankichatti to Yamunotri either on foot, with a doli, or with a horse at your own expense. As soon as you arrive at Yamunotri, take a hot bath in Jamunabai kund and then attend the temple darshan. Once you have had the temple darshan, you can cook rice by putting it in a cloth and dipping it in the hot kund. The cooked rice is taken home by pilgrims as "prasad". Then return to Jankichatti and proceed to Barkot. The hotel will be your home for the night.

The next morning, after having a good breakfast you have to drive to Haridwar through Rishikesh. Drive straight to Rishikesh and visit Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, and Parmarth Niketan, then drop off at the Haridwar Railway Station later in the day.
Located along Highway 134, Yamunotri is a popular tourist destination. From all over Uttarakhand, buses and taxis can be easily accessed to reach Janki Chatti (Yamunotri). Getting to Yamunotri temple requires a six-kilometre walk from Janki Chatti. There are three routes to reach Yamunotri from Haridwar.
