Upon arrival at Leh Kushok Bakula Airport, you’ll meet our representative who will transfer you to the hotel in Leh. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and rest of the day free at your leisure. In the evening you can perform shopping as well at the local market. Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel in Leh.
In the morning after your breakfast proceed for a day excursion tour, sightseeing 1000-year-old Alchi monastery the only Gompa in the Ladakh region on flat ground. Thereafter proceed to the Likir Monastery to visit the splendid three-storeys of Dharma Wheel Gompa. Here you'll be awestruck with the sight of the massive Buddha statues., Indus & Zanskar river Sangam, drive along the Indus river visiting, Pathar Sahib Gurdwara and Magnetic Hill (where the cars defy gravity), Basgo Palace Hiking only and further on to Leh Hall of Fame (which has a museum of the Kargil War memorabilia). Return back to the hotel in Leh, have your dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.
In the morning we will continue our drive to Nubra Valley also called Dumra. It lies in the north of Leh. En-route visits Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world at a height of 5359 metres. Then drive for a while to visit Diskit Monastery, the oldest and largest Gompa in Nubra valley famous for its beautiful architecture and intricate frescos and wall paintings. Pass from the river Shyok and arrive at Nubra Valley. Nubra Valley is known for its pristine natural beauty, stunning lakes, apricot orchards and picturesque scene. A person can enjoy camel rides and quad biking experiences, if time permits you can perform these activities at additional costs. Night halt at Nubra Camp.
The next morning after breakfast, leave the camp and drive towards Nubra Valley towards Turtuk Village. India’s last village in Ladakh - Turtuk village, Nubra to Turtuk village distance is 4 hr 23 min and 165 km via Diskit - Turtok Hwy. Turtuk is a small remote village of about 4,000 residents which is inhabited by ethnic Muslims. It is actually a few kilometres away from the LOC - the ‘line of control’ which is the border between India and Pakistan. Spend some of your time in Turtuk tourism and later return back to Nubra Valley for a night halt.
In the morning check out from Nubra Valley Camp and drive to Pangong Lake via Shayok. En route visit Diskit. Upon arrival in Pangong Lake, check in to the camp. Overnight stay at Pangong.
In the morning after breakfast leave from Pangong Lake and drive towards Tso Moriri Lake via Chushul and Merak Village, called as Valley of Dreams. The Tso Moriri Lake is a breeding ground for numerous species of birds. This lake is 8 km wide and 28 km long. Later reach Karzok and have dinner and a night halt at the deluxe camp in Karzok.
Tso Moriri Lake - Tso Moriri or Lake Moriri also known as "Mountain Lake". It is a lake in the Changthang Plateau of Ladakh in India. The lake and surrounding area are protected as the Tso Moriri Wetland Conservation Reserve.
Chushul - Chushul is a village in the Leh district of Ladakh. It is located in the Durbuk tehsil, in the area known as "Chushul Valley", south of the Pangong Lake and west of the Spanggur Lake.
Merak - Merak is a forward village on the southern banks of Pangong Tso, near Spangmik on south India - China border in the Leh District of Ladakh, India.
Next morning after breakfast leave from Tso Moriri Lake towards Leh via Mahe Bridge, Ladakh. En route visit Thiksey Monastery, in the evening arrive at Leh, check in to the hotel, have dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.
